Government Rejects Supporting Movements Logistically Before Final Signing

Sudan Government Delegation to Peace Talks in Doha denied provision of any logistic and technical support to movements by the Mediation or international community before the signing of a final Darfur peace agreement.
at a time the Higher Committee for the Agreement and Conflicts Resolution had set a provisional timetable for discussing the negotiations file in the coming period, expediting parties entry into direct negotiation on the presented files.
Delegation spokesman, Dr. Omer Adam Rahama told the Sudanese Media Center that the Agreement Committee convened yesterday under the co-chairmanship of  the delegation and the Justice and Liberation Movement (JLM) chiefs, and,  membership of the heads of the joint committees, for coming up with a common vision on identifying a specific time for negotiation, stating that the committee believed in the importance of speeding up the negotiation process, with emphasis on simultaneously opening of all files by the end of the first week of July.
He informed that the committee had approved the opening of negotiations by tackling the Wealth file within 48 hours and to start negotiation on the file of refugees, as well as internally displaced people on the 29th of the current month, to open the security arrangement file on the coming Thursday, and to complete the other files through consultations within the higher committee. 
Rahama affirmed the preparedness of the government delegation to enter into direct and proper negotiations with JLM, noting that disputed issues would be settled between the two parties for facilitating the continuation of dialogue on all files without delay in preparation for the direct talks by any party.
For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hoped that the presence of JEM’s Chief, Khalil Ibrahim in Libya was on transit and not for residence.
Responding to reporters' questions, Ministry spokesman Mo’awia Osman Khalid informed that contacts with Libya had been ongoing; hoping to be culminated in getting Ibrahim onboard Doha that targeted tackling of macro issues in Darfur.
